Description:
<!--[endif]--> Opened in 2004, Ryan's Daughter was designed from the beginning to be Baltimore City's North Irish Headquarters.
Named after the Academy Award-Winning film about an Irish girl who falls in love with a British Soldier during World War II, the restaurant would become a little corner of Ireland for anyone who seeks a comfortable, energetic setting for food and fun.
The restaurant is pleasantly nestled in Belvedere Square, situated near major universities (Towson and Loyola), local business hubs (just a block from the historic Senator Theater), and thriving residential communities.
For the interior, John McGraine from Delvin Farms Antiques was asked to meticulously import original furniture, artwork, stained glass, wood and shelving from Ireland, to ensure that Ryan's Daughter would have the most authentic surroundings of any Irish atmosphere in the region. The menu was then designed to be quality, tasteful Irish fare, being neither high-end cuisine nor greasy, quick food.
All that was left was to set the scene to the quick-stepping, fast-paced musical culture of mother Ireland, and a cultural gem was born.
Since then, Ryan's Daughter has become a regional favorite, serving good, quality food in a friendly, comfortable setting where everyone is welcome. We hope to see you soon.
