If it wasn't for the friendly staff, I'd have given one fork. I used to love this place. But it has gone way downhill. I am not sure if it is due to the new ownership group, or just a tale of times. The prices have skyrocketed (bar bites menu is not even a "deal" anymore), and while I don't mind accepting a restaurant's increase in food cost these days, then allow the food to show it, at least by maintaining quality. The MD crab soup has returned to the menu, however it is so thin, I can't even scoop it with my saltines as I always do (and the crab and even the plethora of chunky veggies are sparse!). Oceanaire and Ryleigh's used to have my heart for a tie in best MD crab soup, but now Ryleigh's gets the title. Hands down. If Baltimore's Oceanaire would stop scrimping and raising prices, I'd come back. Until I hear of otherwise, this long-time favorite will remain just a distant memory. I am still glad though, that I got to experience this place for all the years it once was a delicious seafood staple in Harbor East.
