
SOUTH BALTIMORE LEARNING CENTER TO HOLD
MASQUERADE MAGIC GALA, MAR. 20 HONORING
VERIZON FOUNDATION, JULES “SONNY” MORSTEIN JR.
The South Baltimore Learning Center (SBLC) will present Masquerade Magic – a costume/
black-tie optional gala, Saturday, Mar. 20, from 7:00 to 11:30 p.m., at Montgomery Park Business Center (1800 Washington Blvd.).
Masquerade Magic is intended to raise over $60,000 to support SBLC’s adult literacy services and general operations. Individual tickets are $100/person and corporate sponsorships are also available. For tickets or sponsorship information, call 410.625.4215 or visit www.southbaltimorelearns.org.
Cuisine will reflect Baltimore’s wide-ranging tastes with flavorful dishes, wines, cocktails and a signature drink donated by such restaurants and caterers as: Bo Brooks Restaurant and Catering, Little Havana, Luca’s Café, MaGerk’s Pub, Matsuri’s Japanese Restaurant, Mothers Federal Hill Grille, Nick’s Inner Harbor Seafood, Phillips Seafood Restaurant, Ropewalk Tavern, Trattoria AnnaMaria Italian Deli and the Tremont.
Silent and live auctions will feature such items as Camden Yards skybox parties and magical getaways to Paris, France; Steamboat Springs, Co.; the forest of West Virginia, and Ocean City, Md. Additionally the gala will honor long-term SBLC supporters, the Verizon Foundation and Jules “Sonny” Morstein Jr.
