The Baltimore (and Foodie) Lovers' Holiday Gift Guide

Carrie Murphy

As the holidays rapidly approach, we thought we'd give all you food-obsessed Baltimoreans a little gift guide! We always recommend gift certificates to the many incredible restaurants in the Baltimore area, but just in case you want you want something a little more specific, we've come up with ten ideas for the food-obsessed.

A tin of Otterbein's cookies would be a perfect hostess gift this holiday party season. $11.99-$21.99, available online or at the retail location on Rolling Road

For the local historian with a sweet tooth, why not pick up this gorgeous print of the Domino Sugar sign? $20, Solstice Photo on Etsy

A pound (or two) of Zeke's Coffee is ideal for the caffeine-obsessed (that includes students!). $14-20, available at several retail locations around the area, at the roastery on Harford Rd or online.

Who doesn't love candy? Wockenfuss, the Baltimore-based candy company about to celebrate their 100th anniversary, makes delicious chocolates, hard candy and gummies. The diabetics in my life always appreciate a box of their surprisingly-good sugar-free candy, too. Prices vary, available at several retail locations and online

Ok, so it's not exactly food, but I bet any true blue Baltimorean on your list would love a Boh shirt. $20, Super Rad Design.

If you walk into a Christmas or Hanukkah party with a Dangerously Delicious Pie, chances are you'll be the most popular person there.  $28.00 each for sweet pies, $35 for savory pies and $28 for quiches, available at the O'Donnell St retail location.

A gift certificate to Charm City Food Tours is a fun gift for staycationers. Tours are in the neighborhoods of Fells Point, Federal Hill, and Little Italy. $58 per adult, available online.

For the wannabe vintner, a bottle of Boordy wine would go down nicely. Prices ranges, available at Boordy wineyard or at retailers around the area including Wells and Beltway Liquors.

For the budding (or even experienced) chef, cooking classes at For The Love Of Food in Reisterstown, $75.

Vaccaro's Cannolis. Need I say more? Prices range, available at the restaurant in Little Italy or online.
