BIG NEWS PEOPLE! 14 Baltimore County restaurants have joined forces to extend Restaurant Week into Baltimore County. For the first time, Baltimore County restaurants are offering 3-course dinners and lunches for a special Restaurant Week price. Dinner: $35.10 Lunch: $20.10 (Some restaurants offer dinner only menus.) From Friday, August 13 - Sunday, August 22 - - the same as Baltimore City Restaurant Week-- you can enjoy great prices at your fave county spots.

Brian Boston, owner and executive chef at The Milton Inn and Baltimore County Restaurant Week organizer said, "We've had so many people ask us when the county restaurants were going to offer the three-course Restaurant Week specials." "Our customers don't want to deal with the traffic and parking fees in the city. We have free parking at most of our restaurants-and--we're giving the customers what they want. We'll be doing Winter restaurant Week as well."

Last week I visited the Milton Inn and had an amazing meal. Filet topped with crabmeat and hollandaise sauce-TDF people! And the service is impeccable. If you're looking for ambience, this 270-year-old farmhouse in Sparks is the place to go.

Totally enjoyed my burger and fries lunch at Stoney River Legendary Steaks-and-FYI-the dinners are way tasty too. We're talking "comfort food in a sports jacket." Great food, comfy and a welcoming staff-and hey-you can shop at Nordstrom before or after cause it's attached to Towson Town Center. Food AND shopping? Just saying...

Visit The Grill at Harryman House - a contemporary restaurant with critically acclaimed food.  It's housed in an early American home built in 1791 and features a chestnut and oak log cabin, bright porches, and a spacious "great-room-style" dining room. Candlelight, fine china, silverware, and crystal. And it's cas-SO nice!

Other participating restaurants include Mia Carolina, Café Troia, Jesse Wong's Kitchen, Vito's Café, Michael's Café, Restaurant Sabor, Christopher Daniel, Artful Gourmet, The Melting Pot, Greystone Grill, The Peppermill, Patrick's.
